An environmental audit of sustainability

SF conducts extensive environmental audits, helping clients gain a better understanding of their energy, water and transport usage. Assessments use methodologies in accordance with the Australian/New Zealand Standard – Energy Audits (AS/NZS 3598:2000).

The data collected assists in identifying devices and locations that contribute the most to the organisation’s footprint.

The Path to Carbon Neutrality

Carbon Monitored

The Carbon Monitored programme has been designed to assist organisations to take the important first steps toward sustainable business management and environmental impact reduction. Through assistance in developing an organisations environmental declaration and environmental policies and procedures, a framework is put in place for continual environmental improvement and staff engagement. In order to understand the environmental footprint of an organisation an assessment of utility billing and key energy and water de vices is completed. This baseline information provides the basis for the development of an environmental action plan that addresses key retrofit and behaviour change initiatives to be completed over a set period of time.

Carbon Abated

Building on the framework developed during the Carbon Monitored certification, the Carbon Abated program focuses on the implementation of key environmental actions as described in the environmental action plan. Through Sustainable Footprints alliance partners, guidance to latest technologies and expert retrofit providers and installers can be sourced and key no cost/low cost initiatives can be implemented.

Carbon Neutral

An organisation may select to become carbon neutral at any stage in the engagement process. Through Sustainable Footprints sister company, Next Generation Energy Solutions (Nextgen), a range of high quality carbon offset programs are available.
